It would be incredibly unjust to concentrate on one gender while ignoring the other as we work to create a society of gender equality and equity. Did you know that June is designated as Men’s Health Month each year? Men’s and women’s health are equally important.
Over time, men have developed the ability to repress their feelings. They wish to avoid being viewed as “weak.” There are sayings such as “a man doesn’t cry.” He is still a human being despite his biological make-up. Their mental health suffers as a result of the financial strain or load they bear, but they put up with it all because they are “men”.
Men prioritise seeming strong above taking care of their health. They eventually start to experience symptoms of illnesses that they could have avoided or treated if they had taken notice of the symptoms sooner.

Men’s health awareness and education are particularly important this month. Promoting men’s responsibility for their whole well-beingāsocial, emotional, physical, and mentalāis the main objective of this event.
Its sole purpose is to raise public awareness of men’s health issues. Reducing the stigma associated with men’s health issues is necessary for this month’s goal to become ingrained. A man’s health issues should be taken into consideration in addition to his general well-being.
Research over the years has shown that men have a shorter life expectancy than women. According to reports, males are more likely than women to disregard illness warning signs for a variety of reasons, which reduces their life expectancy.
