British model, Michelle Jackson has explained why her union with Nigerian music executive, Don Jazzy real name Michael Collins dissolved one year after they tied the knot.
Speaking during an interview session with radio host Godwin Aruwajo and Lady J on Naija 102 FM; Michelle Jackson explained that ‘Don Jazzy’s love and passion for music’ instigated their divorce.
According to Jackson, the Mavins records boss had a gift that could not be held back due to marriage. She stated that she supported Don Jazzy’s decision to chase his career in music.
“I told Michael (Don Jazzy) to go be himself and go after what you have a great passion, gift for,” she said.
She mentioned further that JJC Skillz’s discovery of Don Jazzy; a music producer in the United Kingdom aided him to focus primarily on his budding music career at the time.

Stating other reasons for their divorce, Jackson mentioned that they got married at a young age. She revealed that she walked down the aisle barely two weeks after she turned 22.
The serial enterpreneur who is currently on media tour in Nigeria added that they had no kids while they were married.

In 2021, Nigerian music executive and record producer, Don Jazzy revealed during a Black Box session with media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu that he was previously married to a British woman.
The revelation at the time shook fans of the Mavins records boss.
