Minister of Finance, Wale Edun bags World Bank appointment


Nigeria’s Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun has been appointed Chairman of the African Governors’ Forum of the World Bank.

The Ministry of Finance took to social media platform X to congratulate the well-respected Economist on his latest feat.

The statement by the ministry titled ‘WORLD BANK APPOINTMENT’ reads:

‘Nigeria’s Minister @FinMinNigeria & Coordinating Minister of the Economy Mr. Wale Edun has been appointed to Chair the African Governors’ Forum of the World Bank.
