Adeola, the 41-year-old daughter of veteran Yoruba actress Jumoke George, has returned to Nigeria after being trafficked to Mali and missing for four years.
The chairperson, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa confirmed this on her X page on Monday.
Dabiri-Erewa received Adeola with actress Abiola Adebayo, and actor Niyi Johnson.
Although back in the country, Adeola has not yet reunited with her mother.
George had earlier disclosed on the Adebayo’s ‘Talk to B’ podcast that her daughter disappeared after leaving her grandmother’s house in Ibadan, claiming she was travelling to Lagos.
Recall that the veteran actress had opened up in an emotional interview on how she started living in a church six years ago while battling illness and the heartbreak of a missing child.
