The father of the late Nigerian recording artiste, Mohbad whose real name is Ilerioluwa Aloba has explained why the musician was laid to rest barely 24 hours after his demise.
It would be recalled that Mohbad due to an alleged ear infection on Tuesday, September 12.
He was controversially laid to rest the following day in Ikorodu, Lagos state, much to the dismay of his fans.

The father of the Nigerian recording artiste whose name is Joseph Aloba have now come out to explain why the singer was quickly laid to rest.
In a recent interview shared by Temilola Sobola (@TemilolaSobola) via Instagram on Tuesday, Aloba claimed he was only respecting Yoruba culture by burying the artist quickly.
According to him, it is customary not to delay burial if both parents are still alive.
āIn Yoruba land, his corpse is not the kind to be kept when both of his parents are still alive.
āThat land where Mohbad was buried is his only land, that is the only land I know him to have owned.
āTruly he gave me the land to build my church because we had both agreed to build the church there and since thatās the only land I knew him to have,ā Aloba said.
