Mohbad gets free casket, pallbearers, others for second burial


The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ebony Vaults, a funeral home located in Ikoyi, has generously offered a complimentary casket, venue, pallbearers, and hornsmen, among other services, for the secondary burial ceremony of the late Nigerian rapper, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, aka Mohbad.

Earlier, News Round The Clock (NRTC) reported the tragic passing of Mohbad, the former signee of Marlian Record Label, on September 12, 2023.

Mohbad’s untimely death has sparked significant controversy, with a widespread demand for justice to be served in this tragic case.

Following his initial burial, the Lagos State Police Command took the extraordinary step of exhuming his body for the purpose of conducting an autopsy and launching a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding his demise.

In preparation for Mohbad’s second burial, prominent Nigerian actresses, Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh, recently paid a visit to a well-known funeral home located in the Ikoyi area of Lagos State to inquire about the necessary arrangements and items required for a dignified funeral ceremony.

Iyabo Ojo shared this development on her official Instagram page, expressing her gratitude to the funeral home’s CEO, who generously offered most of the essential items required for the burial at no cost.

She wrote, “A visit to EBONY VAULT IKOYI in preparation for General MOHBAD’s befitting burial.

“The CEO of @ebonyfuneralng gave us a free casket, a free hall, a huge discount for the vault, free pallbearers, free hornsmen, 2 fresh wreaths, 2 wreath bearers, and a horse carriage. Thanks to my sister @tontolet #justiceformohbad🕊🕯😑💔 #Justicefordjsplash.”
