International music video platform, MTV Base has confirmed it will no longer be playing the video of Nigerian recording artiste, Naira Marley and content related to his record label, Marlians following the demise of it’s former talent, Mohbad.
It would be recalled that the singer-songwriter, Mohbad whose real name is Ilerioluwa Aloba passed away on Tuesday, September 12 after suffering an alleged ear infection.
After the controversial death of the 27-year-old singer-songwriter, some radio stations around the country decided to place a āNot to Be Broadcastā (NTTB) ban on all the songs under the Marlian Records Label.

The ban by MTV was announced by popular TV host, Ehizojie Okoeguale aka DadaBoy Ehiz, a staff of the music channel.

He made the announcement on his X handle on Wednesday, September 20.

This is coming after Naira Marley was accused of threatening, bullying and physically abusing the deceased. In videos making the rounds on social media, Naira Marley and his cohorts were seen to stalking the Mohbad following his controversial departure from his Marlians record label.
