Monday Motivation: Here is what you need to do before the year runs out

motivation

This Monday motivation is designed to keep the reader inspired and focused on their aim and objective before the year comes to an end.

In approximately ten weeks from now, 2023 will be coming to a conclusion. The year will come to an end like every other year, then 2024 kicks and the adrenaline and desire to achieve something major sets in again.

It is quintessential for the reader to understand that as the years wind down; nothing new really happens if you do not make it happen. While trends, fashion and times evolve, the individual never really transforms if he isn’t intentional about his own growth.

Do not wait until the new year to set a new target, commence today. Understandably, it seems nothing can be achieved anymore because we are in the tenth month of the year, albeit, that doesn’t matter.

Be unapologetic about your own knowledge and pursuit of excellence.

Today is Monday, the commencement of a new week, register for that course online and apply for that job that you have always dreamt and aspired to achieve. Let nothing stop you, not even the calendar.

This Monday motivation article is simply to set your heart on fire; do not let this opportunity to become a better version of yourself pass you by.

Here are five things you should do prior to the conclusion of the year.

  1. Take The Online Course

There are numerous online platforms where you can hone your skill and acquire knowledge. Some notable platforms include; Alison, Coursera, Mygreatlearning.com, Udemy, etc.

2. Get A Passport

Understandably, every Nigerian youth wants to migrate from the country for greener pastures. Hey, have you applied for a passport? To achieve your objective of leaving the country, endeavour to get yourself a passport and commence the application of seeing rooftops of beautiful cities.

3. Fix Your LinkedIn Profile

You probably think this doesn’t matter, actually it does. The world has gone digital and everyone has a version of themselves online (unless you probably live underneath a rock). Endeavour to fix your LinkedIn profile and also your other social media accounts.

Be intentional with the image you portray online. Your potential employers might be investigating your online presence, remember to keep your profile impeccable.

Put your professional wins on LinkedIn, let your victory speak for you.

4. Apply For That Job

After acquiring knowledge and fixing your LinkedIn profile, take the risk and apply for that job. I am certain you didn’t just get the knowledge because you want it to vanish into the sky, endeavour to apply for that dream job and create more opportunities for you to grow financially.

5. Start Your Business

Before the year comes to an end, endeavour to start that business. If there is a nudge in your heart to commence a business, do not deny yourself the opportunity to bless the world with your work of art and acumen.

It’s still two months prior to the end of the year, do something different and unique.
