Nigerian comedian, Adebowale Debo Adedayo, popularly known as Mr. Macaroni has claimed that he received death threat messages related to the Saturday’s presidential election from some notable anonymous politicians in the country.
Sharing the screenshot of the email containing the death threat on his Twitter page, Macaroni said is used to threats and has a record of all threats he had received.
The email of the death threat read, “Omo ale Yoruba! You’ve been watched around Lekki Environs. If you survived this year then thank whatever god you’re worshiping.”

Macaroni who is supporting the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, added that he has recorded messages and calls from powerful politicians and their children that have ever reached out to him.
The comedian further stated that as long as he lives, he will never give in to compromise.
Mr Macaroni wrote, “I’m already used to threats. I have a record of all threats I have received. Also, I have recorded messages and calls from Powerful politicians and their children that have ever reached out to me.

“I always said no because as long as I still live, There shall be no compromise.
“If you are claiming that it is someone from your tribe that must be President because your tribe comes first then let your candidate be Leader of your tribe. Why do you want the person to be President of a Nation that consists of many other tribes? Please do better!!!
“We must stop any form of Tribal Hate or Bigotry because any candidate who emerges President freely and fairly will be President of Nigeria and not President of his tribe. We must all do better!!!”
