MTN Nigeria secured four major honours at the 2025 Consumers Value Awards in Lagos, marking a decisive sweep across service quality, network reliability, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility.
The event, held at the Ijakadi Hall of Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja GRA, followed a nationwide consumer voting process organised by BrandXchange.
The telecom operator emerged winner in Best Green Energy Adoption by a Company, Best Customer Service Telecoms Brand, Most Reliable Internet Service Provider, and Best CSR Initiative by a Corporate Brand through the MTN Foundation.
MTN received 53 percent of votes for green energy adoption, 54 percent for customer service, 66 percent for internet reliability, and 73 percent for its CSR initiative. These categories represent core areas of consumer expectation across Nigeria’s digital economy.

The green energy award highlights MTN’s ongoing shift toward cleaner power solutions for its network sites. The initiative is designed to reduce operational emissions and limit dependence on diesel-powered systems.
The CSR award acknowledges the MTN Foundation’s national footprint in educational support, healthcare interventions, and youth-focused initiatives.
