My kids will look up to you – promoter Hearn tells Anthony Joshua

In defence of Anthony Joshua’s outburst after Oleksandr Usyk was declared winner of the world heavyweight bout in Saudi Arabi, his promoter Eddie Hearn gave praised his
fighter.

Joshua was trying to reclaim the belts he lost to the Ukraine boxer in September but couldn’t
after losing on split decision.

“This is someone who I want my kids to look up to,” he said.

While dismissing any suggestions of Joshua retiring, Earn said he would like see him be more
active.

He wants Joshua to return in December and have at least three fights in 2023 after just two
fights in two and half years – both against Usyk.

“If he’s out in public, he gives everyone his time. He’s one of the nicest guys. He’s a competitor
and winner.

“What you saw was raw emotion. A real person who wanted to win badly.”

“I’m a fighter for life. That hunger never dies. Fighter for life,” added at the Press Conference.
