Naima Idris Usman is a medical doctor and reproductive health specialist from Northern Nigeria. She founded the Musan Lafiyarmu foundation to help create, and spread awareness on health related issues.
During the Covid19 pandemic, the foundation donated countless of hand sanitizers and disinfectants to the needy.
Naima uses her social media platforms to advocate for feminine health and hygiene. She leaves no stone unturned in her advocacy which leads to her videos, particularly on Instagram, being tagged as controversial.

Her alma maters include; Queenās College, Lagos, Southeast University, China and the University of Port Harcourt. Naima is currently a Mandela Washington Fellow at Texas Tech University.

Naima can be said to have single-handedly helped in dismantling the barriers surrounding issues that affect the reproductive health of women online. Her videos are done in Hausa, English and Pidgin. You can find her on Instagram @girls_talk_series where she has a large following of 140000 people.
When asked if she has faced any obstacles in her way since choosing this career path, she said, āMy late father did not even attend primary school, but he made sure we all attended university.ā
