In the wake of the demise of Mohbad, Nigerians have taken to social media and the streets of the country to wage war and protest against Marlians record label executive and controversial musician, Naira Marley.
Following the controversy hovering around the sudden death of Mohbad whose real name is Ilerioluwa Aloba, Nigerians have decided to stand against Naira Marley and seek justice for the 27-year-old artiste who mysteriously died of a ear infection on Tuesday, September 12.
Numerous videos and footages insinuating that the controversial artiste, Naira Marley and socialite, Sam Larry are involved in the sudden death of Mohbad have been littering the social media sphere. As a matter of fact, the singer-songwriter and label executive, Naira Marley has been away from the country for sometime now.

Prior to the sudden demise of Mohbad on Tuesday, September 12, he was one of the first acts that joined Naira Marley’s record label in the early part of 2020.
Mohbad and Zinoleesky would go on to find modest notoriety, with the latter going on to find more fame.

The aforementioned artistes joined Marlian records when the Naira Marley was at the peak of his music career and dominated the Nigerian music sector. The controversial artiste was the most talked about artiste in 2019 and easily became a ‘hero’ for numerous youths across the country; his heinous tact and questionable personality was at the time ignored.
Marley was seen as the voice of a generation, a rebellious young man who emerged to unravel the nefarious personality ingrained in the hearts of the Nigerian youth. At the time, young and old individuals wanted to identify as a ‘Marlian’.
Mohbad’s Demise Serves As Wake Up Call…
Until last Tuesday, numerous Nigerian youths could care less about supporting and promoting promiscuity, debauchery, violence and pandemonium. Naira Marley who was a criminal mastermind in Peckham, United Kingdom became the ideal ‘role model’ for several young people, this includes the educated and the illiterate.
Mohbad’s sudden demise has exposed the cruelty and heinous agenda of the leader of the Marlian nation. It is time for Nigerian youths to look within themselves and question their own principles and individual values.
In 2019, Naira Marley should have been arrested for promoting internet fraudulence, however, he was applauded for speaking for ‘Yahoo’ boys, scammers and internet fraudsters. Until recently, it became apparent that Marley is also a member of an underground coterie of socialites who involving in drug trafficking and other forms of crime.
It is quintessential for the Nigerian youth to awake and shun individuals who are promoting vile philosophies. If Naira Marley was reprimanded in 2019, a promising talent such as Mohbad wouldn’t have had to go through the turbulence he did until his demise on Tuesday, September 12.
May the soul of Mohbad, real name Ilerioluwa Aloba make Nigerian youths understand the importance of shunning the path of cruelty that would eventually lead to heartache.
