NBA congratulates Klay Thompson as Warriors player makes history


Klay Thompson made NBA history by passing Jamal Crawford for tenth on the all-time three-pointers made list.

33-year-old Thompson achieved the feat on Sunday evening when the Golden State Warriors defeated the Houston Rockets 106-95.

The NBA took to social media to congratulate the fantastic player.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the NBA stated: “Congrats to @KlayThompson of the @warriors for moving to 10th on the all-time 3-pointers made list!”

Star player Stephen Curry shone like a million stars, claiming 24 points. He also recorded seven rebounds and six assists, all in 31 minutes of playing time.

Thompson, on his own, claimed 19 points, four rebounds and one block in 29 minutes of playing time.

Currently, Thompson has 2,222 three-pointers made and is directly behind legend LeBron James (2,263).

In 2011, the Los Angeles-born athlete was the 11th pick in the 2011 NBA Draft out of Washington State. He has spent his entire career with Golden State.

The Warriors will play their next game on Monday evening. They visit the New Orleans Pelicans in Louisiana.
