Neymar out of the season due to ankle injury


According to reports, Neymar’s season is over as he has to undergo ligament repair surgery following Neymar ankle injury. He is set to be sidelined for at least three to four months.

A surgery will be carried out in the coming days in Doha. He will be out for 3-4 months. However it appears that this will be his 17th injury since his arrival at PSG in 2017.

Neymar suffered 6 injuries to right ankle within that period. By the time he recovers from his latest injury, he would have been unavailable for over 700 days.

PSG also confirmed on monday he will undergo surgery on his injured ankle and expected to be out for 3-4 months. Injuries ruined his career.


Infact itā€™s looking like Neymarā€™s future at Paris Saint- German is uncertain due to his right ankle injury.

Following his last sprain contracted on Feb. 20, the medical staff recommended a ligament repair operation to avoid a major risk of recurrence. All the experts consulted have confirmed this necessity.

Over the years, Neymar has repeatedly sustained regrettable injuries during February/March of almost every year.

The 31-year old has scored 13 goals and created 11 assists in 20 Ligue 1 matches this term. That’s 24 direct goal contributions for PSG in the Ligue 1.

Neymar, until his ankle injury, has undoubtedly formed a great partnership with superstars Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi.

Neymar’s last match for the French giants was their 4-3 comeback win over Lille LOSC. The former Barcelona forward scored one of the goals while creating another.

PSG will have to prosecute their UEFA Champions League last-16 second-leg tie against Bayern with the skillful Brazilian playmaker.
