Amas Obasogie has been cleared of match-fixing allegations after an investigation by Singida Black Stars. The Tanzanian club reversed his suspension following its internal probe.
Just last month, NRTC reported the goalkeeper had been banned for three months. The announcement came after concerns over suspicious incidents during a match.
However, the club later reviewed all available evidence, and investigators ultimately found no proof of gambling or match manipulation.

In an official statement, the club explained the outcome of its findings. The statement noted “no evidence of match-fixing or gambling” involving the player.

It further clarified that the incidents were simply technical mistakes during the game. As a result of that, the club decided to cancel the disciplinary action.
