The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPC) has reiterated its commitment to driving local content development and fostering sustainable growth in Nigeria’s energy sector.

This was highlighted by the Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO), Mele Kyari, during the 13th Practical Nigerian Content (PNC) Forum in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

Represented by the Executive Vice President, Upstream, Udobong Ntia, Kyari underscored the significance of the forum as a platform for stakeholders to reflect on progress, share best practices, and explore strategic opportunities for the industry.

Kyari noted that the enactment of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development (NOGICD) Act of 2010 marked a transformative era, enabling local businesses to compete globally.
