Nigerian chef, Damilola Adeparusi, widely known as Chef Dammy, has dismissed claims that she is planning to cook the largest pot of beans for a Guinness World Record.
The speculation began shortly after Hilda Baci set a new record for preparing the largest pot of Nigerian jollof rice.
In a video shared on her social media page, Chef Dammy made it clear that she has no such plans and wondered why anyone would think she intended to take on that challenge.
She also used the opportunity to congratulate Hilda for her achievement.

“I will like to say a very big congratulations to Miss Hilda for the just completed project of cooking biggest pot of jollof rice to feed thousands. Congratulations to Nigeria and to all the African countries”, Dammy stated.
Chef Dammy, who hails from Ekiti State, rose to fame in 2023 when she attempted a cook-a-thon that attracted wide attention across the country.
Her name has since remained linked with discussions about cooking records and competitions.
