Nollywood actor and filmmaker Adeshina Okiki, known in the entertainment world as Janmole, has been buried in his hometown of Okeho in Oyo State following his death from injuries linked to a road accident.
Reports of his death emerged on Monday night and were later confirmed by Bolaji Amusan, the President of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria.
He stated that the actor died after suffering injuries from a crash.

Janmole was laid to rest on Tuesday in line with Islamic burial rites in Okeho.

His remains were brought into the town in a white Hummer bus before being taken to the family compound where relatives, friends, and colleagues had already gathered.
The burial drew strong emotions as mourners reacted in different ways.
Some cried openly while others stood in silence. A few women were heard calling his name “Okiki” in pain, while others were seen overwhelmed by grief during the final rites.
Colleagues in the Yoruba film industry have continued to react to his death, sharing memories and expressing shock over the loss.
Actress Regina Chukwu, who recently worked with him, said she was surprised by the news after their last meeting on set.
Janmole was known for his appearances in Yoruba movies such as Agunbaniro, Iyawo Asante, and Ogbon Inu.

He also had a strong presence on TikTok, where he posted comedy and entertainment clips for his followers.
His death comes years after he survived a serious road accident on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in 2022, when the vehicle he was in caught fire but he managed to escape alive.
