Fati started her film career when she first expressed her desire to enter the film industry at a young age. She was watching Ki Yarda Da Ni, directed by Ibrahim Mandawari when she developed interest. At the time, she was living with her brother but he expressed displeasure.

When her parents agreed, she expressed her interest to Tahir Muhammad Fagge, a well-known filmmaker in the Kannywood industry. Tahir introduced her to Ishaq Sidi Ishaq an acclaimed image maker in the industry. It was then that Ishaq Sidi Ishaq casted Fati in his film “Da Babu“. The film emphasised her beauty and style, where she was immediately recognized from the film. This attracted the attention of other producers in the industry who repeatedly included Fati in their films.
