The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has entered a five-year commercial agreement. It is valued at about ₦2.14 billion to improve its broadcasting reach and modernize data rights management.
On November 5 2025, the league formalised the agreement in Abuja with the NPFL, the Nigeria Football Federation, and technology partners.
The deal includes an ₦800 million activation fee for broadcast rights. There is also a separate ₦600 million data contract with Round-Up Technologies Limited.
The deal analysis
Under the main deal, Inview Technologies Nigeria Limited and AS Production Hub Limited will manage NPFL TV and digital production for five seasons. This will restore free-to-air access to local matches.
Also, league chairman Gbenga Elegbeleye described the partnership as a “major milestone” in modernising the league. It aims at placing Nigerian football on a more commercially viable footing globally.

The data agreement with Round-Up Technologies will supply player statistics, match analytics, and monetisation of league data. This opens a new revenue stream for the NPFL beyond normal broadcast fees.
In 2023, the NPFL signed a five-year deal. Valued at ₦5.9 billion with a media partner, the NPFL aimed at increasing game coverage and revenue.
By combining broadcast rights, data analytics, and commercialisation over five years, the NPFL has chosen its ambition. This is the ambition to evolve from an under-exposed domestic competition into a more visible and monetised football product.
