BUSINESS:- Minimum wage: Tinubu moves to approve āaffordable minimum wageā
Amidst the minimum wage saga, affordability seems to be the trend right now. President Tinubu is not giving heed to the NLC demands and is more concerned about āwhat Nigeria can affordā. President Tinubu declared this during the 25th Democracy Day Anniversary Dinner at the Old Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja.
NRTC Weekly has gathered that the President can only afford N62,000 as the minimum wage. The strife between the Labour Congress and the Federal Government have been going on for a while now. It appears that the NLC is not going to get their minimum wage demand of N250,000 anytime soon.
POLITICS:- FG declares Monday and Tuesday as public holidays for Eid-el- Kabir celebrations.
Today, Saturday, June 15, is the day of the Arafat which makes tomorrow Sunday, June 16 as Eid-el- Kabir day as declared by the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar. To follow up the celebrations, the Federal Government has declared Monday and Tuesday as public holidays.
In a statement disclosed by the Ministry of Interior on behalf of FG, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, he enjoined Muslims to use āā the period to pray for unity, prosperity, and the stability of our country’.

It is another time of football sensation for the football fans and even if you’re not a lover of football, you can’t escape the rizz of the football season.The European Football Championship starts today, June 14 till July 14, 2024.
This year’s edition is the 17th one in history.The Championship is held every four years in which European men’s national teams compete for the cup.Twenty four teams will compete for the cup and the winner with later compete against the 2024 Copa America winner in 2025.
This year’s edition will be held in Germany and this is the third time Germany will be hosting the league. The country, Georgia will also be making her debut in the league. The defending champions, Italy who won against England with penalties in the last year’s finals will also be competing for the cup again.
ENTERTAINMENT:- Davido sets to wed Chioma in an elegant ceremony
The love story of Davido and Chioma is one that has worked against all odds. They survived the tragic loss of their son, Ifeanyi in 2022. Davido’s love life with Chioma has been on the low until earlier this week when Davido confirmed his upcoming wedding to Chioma.
This comes after fans had speculated that they might have gotten married in a Redeemed Church sometime last year. NRTC Weekly gathered that the wedding is set to hold in Lagos on June 25. We wish the love birds a happy celebration.
