Nigeria’s National Sports Commission (NSC) has received the African Union Sports Council (AUSC) Evaluation Team in Abuja, marking a crucial step in the country’s bid to host the 15th African Games in 2031.
According to the National Sports Commission on X, the AUSC delegation is carrying out a comprehensive inspection of Nigeria’s sporting facilities, supporting infrastructure, and overall readiness to stage Africa’s premier multi-sport event.
The visit is described as a critical milestone in the bidding process, with technical experts assessing Nigeria against established continental hosting standards.
