The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has fixed Thursday, May 21, 2026 for the passing‑out of the 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream Two Corps Members nationwide.
The announcement was made in a statement posted on NYSC’s official page on Monday, May 4.
NYSC stated that activities leading to the ceremony will commence on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
Preparations are set to start with Job Advisory and Counselling (JAC) sessions organized in collaboration with relevant agencies, while corps members will also complete their final clearance under the supervision of Zonal Inspectors.

The exercise will be conducted in a low‑key format, with Certificates of National Service distributed to qualified corps members in all Local Government Areas.

The NYSC explained that the event marks the conclusion of service for thousands of young Nigerians who have contributed to national development through assignments in education, health, agriculture, and other sectors.
Olakunle Nafiu, the NYSC Director‑General, extended his best wishes to the outgoing corps members.
He encouraged them to uphold the scheme’s core values in their post‑service lives and to remain good ambassadors of the NYSC.
With the passing‑out date now confirmed, the scheme reaffirmed its role in fostering unity and preparing graduates for future challenges, while corps members prepare to formally conclude their service year.
