Odumodublvck explains meaning behind his red cap

Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has revealed why he is always seen wearing a red cap as part of his identity in the music scene.

In a recent interview on Comfortably Speaking, the artiste said the cap is not just a fashion item but a cultural symbol from the Igbo tradition.

He explained that the red cap is worn by warriors in his tribe whenever they are going into battle.

According to him, the music industry is like a battleground, and wearing the cap represents his readiness to fight and stand strong in the competitive space.

He said his choice of the red cap is his way of showing courage and pride in his roots while facing the challenges that come with being in the industry.

He said: “This is a war cap. Whenever my tribe wants to go to war against another clan, all the warriors will wear this. So if I enter the music industry, which is a battleground, put two and two together.”
