The spokesman for the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi. Chief Moses Olafare, says despite the decision of Queen Naomi Silekunola announcing that she was leaving the marriage. The revered King is still in love with his Olori.
The Ooni’s estranged wife who is also known as Prophetess Naomi. Had announced the separation from the first class King on December 23rd, on her Instagram handle.
The 28-year-old prophetess had, in a statement posted on her verified Instagram handle, @queen_silekunolanaomi_ogunwusi. Announced an end to her three-year-old marriage with the Ooni. Citing that she was not happy in the marriage and was only staying because of her son.
She also made it clear that, she would like to be addressed as Queen of the world. And not the Queen of the first class monarch.
The Ooni in his Christmas message amidst the trending controversy taken to his official Facebook page (Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi ā Ojaja II) to advise “everyone to reach out to neighbours, especially those who havenāt had it as easy through the yearā.
āAs we do take time to celebrate with our families and loved ones. I implore you to reach out to your neighbours, especially those who havenāt had it as easy through the year.

However, in a statement released by Chief Olafare in the midst of the crisis. Insinuating that the monarch is still very much in love with Olori Naomi, and that he was actually packaging a special gift for her on the day she made the separation announcement.
