Former Vice-President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has been selected as a Global Advisor for the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP).
Osinbajo confirmed this appointment via his Twitter handle on Tuesday.
“I am pleased to announce my new role as Global Advisor for the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet @EnergyAlliance,” he shared.

“Within a short span, GEAPP has displayed a strong commitment to assisting developing nations in transitioning to clean energy, employing models that ensure widespread energy accessibility, economic growth, job creation, sustainable livelihoods, and the achievement of urgent climate objectives.

In an effort to expedite the adoption of clean energy in developing countries, the former Vice President has been appointed to assist the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP).
His role will involve supporting GEAPP’s collaborations with governments to improve the regulatory framework and enhance the efficiency of clean energy investments.
