The Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC) has moved to strengthen its institutional framework with the inauguration of six key Board Committees by the Chairman, Olabiyi Poroye.
In a statement posted on the Commission and signed by the Deputy Director, Information, Olusegun Ewata, the establishment of the committees was described as a crucial step in ensuring that the Commission’s interventions are strategic, effective, and beneficial to the mandate areas.
The inauguration is described as a major step towards enhancing operational efficiency, promoting transparency, and reinforcing institutional governance, aligning with the vision of Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
The Appointment, Promotion and Disciplinary Committee was chaired by Ola Judah, with Raphael Adegboye and Dele Adenuoye serving as members.

The Projects and Monitoring Committee was chaired by Raphael Adegboye, while Dele Adenuoye and Bayo Anifowose were members.
The Women and Community Development Committee was chaired by Aderonke Efurubu, with Hon Mrs Ronke Oladun and Lawrence Stephen as members.
The Health and Education Committee was chaired by Adeyemi Abiye, while Ola Judah and Aderonke Efurubu served as members.
The Business, Investment and Public-Private Partnership Committee was chaired by Bayo Anifowose, with Adeyemi Abiye and Abebi Adeniseun as members.
The Youth, Sports and Tourism Development Committee was chaired by Lawrence Stephen, while Abebi Adeniseun and Ronke Oladun served as members.
In his charge to the committee members, Poroye stressed the importance of their roles in advancing sustainable development across the oil-producing areas of the state.
He urged the members to exhibit high levels of dedication, integrity, and teamwork in the execution of their respective mandates.
