The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has offered heartfelt prayers for Princess Opeyemi Bright following her historic inauguration as the youngest Mayor in the United Kingdom.
Pastor Adeboye, revered globally for his spiritual leadership, extended his blessings to Princess Bright shortly after she was sworn in as the First Citizen of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham at age 29.
“Congratulations. The Lord will be with you. He will anoint you for success. You will succeed more than anyone else before you. God will use you mightily for His glory. He will take care of you, take care of your family as a whole. I will always hear good news concerning you. God bless you,” Pastor Adeboye said.

Born in the UK to Nigerian parents, she has spent the past seven years serving her community, having been elected as a councillor at the age of 22. Her commitment to service is rooted in a family legacy of public and spiritual leadership—her mother, Dr. Councillor Afolasade Bright, served as Civic Mayor of Hackney from 2006 to 2007, while her father, Pastor Gbolahan Bright MBE, is a senior minister in RCCG.
