Jimmy Odukoya, the son of late Pastor Taiwo Odukoya and Bimbo, has been named the senior pastor of Fountain of Life Church.
Jimmy was announced during a church service as a successor of his father.
During the service, pastor Rotimi Okpaise told the congregation that the late Taiwo Odukoya shared his succession plan with the board of trustees (BoT) before he died.
Okpaise also announced that Jimmy was unanimously chosen as the senior pastor and chairperson of the board.
According to the pastor, the board also chose September 30, 2023, as the date of Jimmy’s installation.

News Round The Clock (NRTC) had reported that Pastor Odukoya, founder of the church, died on August 7, 2023, in the United States of America at the age of 67.
He died less than 21 years after he lost his first wife, Bimbo, and less than two years after losing his second wife, Nomthi, a South African, on November 9, 2021.
Bimbo died in the 2005 Sosoliso plane crash in Port Harcourt, the Rivers capital while Nomthi died following a two-year battle with cancer.
Odukoya’s marriage to Nomthi lasted 11 years and produced two boys.
Jimmy is a Nollywood actor and musician, who has featured in several movies such as The Wait, The Bling Lagosians, Celebrity Marriage among others.
