Nigerian Singer Peter Okoye has told a Lagos State High Court in Ikeja that Ifeoma Okoye, the wife of music executive Jude Okoye, owns 800,000 shares in Northside Music Limited, a company linked to an alleged $1 million fraud.
Peter, a former member of the music group P-Square, gave the testimony while appearing as the first prosecution witness in the ongoing trial involving his elder brother, Jude Okoye.
The case is being handled by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, which is prosecuting Jude Okoye alongside Northside Music Limited.
Jude Okoye is facing a four-count charge bordering on alleged theft of funds said to be above $1 million.

He has denied all the allegations and pleaded not guilty before the court.
During cross-examination by the defence on Friday, Peter was shown bank account statements belonging to Northside Music Limited.
He told the court that the records reflected business dealings connected to himself and his twin brother, Paul Okoye.
He explained that the company was linked to their music business and that he took action after discovering what he said were irregular movements of funds.
Peter informed the court that he reported the matter to the EFCC after noticing what he described as the diversion of company funds without approval.
He added that following his report, the anti-graft agency investigated the issue and later filed the case in court.
He also confirmed during his testimony that Jude Okoye’s wife holds 800,000 shares in Northside Music Limited, placing her among the shareholders of the company at the centre of the case.
The defence attempted to submit documents that were earlier attached to a petition sent to the EFCC as part of its evidence.
However, the court rejected the documents, stating that they did not meet the required legal standards.
The trial has been adjourned to February 20 and 27, 2026, for further hearing.
