Popular Nigerian rapper and singer Tochukwu Ojogwu, better known by his stage name Odumodublvck, has shared his candid opinion about the state of politics in Nigeria, describing it as “shambolic.”
The artiste, speaking during a recent episode of the BET Talks podcast, reflected on how power often changes people, noting that even well-intentioned leaders can lose their integrity due to the influence of those around them.
“Politics in Nigeria is a shambolic scene like everywhere in the world. When you give man power, it never really goes as planned regardless of whether the person is good or bad. If the person is bad, bad people are going to make him worse. And if the person is good, you will have bad people trying to contaminate the good,” he said.

Odumodublvck also criticized the tendency of Nigerians to blame only the President for the country’s challenges, pointing out that other political office holders play key roles in governance and should equally be held responsible.
“Nigerians have been so brainwashed that when there is a problem, the first thing they think about is the president. You have your local chairman, councillor, senator, who are directly representing you, but you are holding only the president accountable for all the challenges our society is facing. Other public officials should also be held accountable,” he added.
