Port Harcourt refinery shut down for maintenance work

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has announced that the Port Harcourt Refining Company will stop operations starting today for planned maintenance and a review of its sustainability.

This refinery, one of the government-owned plants recently returned to operation, will undergo important work to ensure it runs smoothly in the future.

NNPC Ltd said it is working closely with key partners, including the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), to carry out the maintenance in a proper and open way.
