The weekend saw the final round of English Premier League Week 4 results before the international break. It was a thrilling round with much drama and rather shocking results.
Giants of the game were dwarfed in action. This is definitely one weekend to remember for a long time.
Chelsea vs Crystal Palace: 4 – 0
A first half with no goals caused panic among Chelsea fans, but the second half saw a different Blues side. Ben Chilwell opened the score sheet in the 50th minute before assisting another minute later. Jorginho put 2 penalties in the back of the net to seal the win for Frank Lampardās men.
Everton vs Brighton: 4-2
Everton continued on their winning streak in their game against Brighton and Hove Albion at home. They are top of the league before the international break.
Dominic Calvert Lewin remains in the fine form that earned him his first England call up as he scored in the 18th minute.
New signing James Rodrigues also had a stellar performance as he scored 2 goals and assisted one for Yery Mina.
Leeds United vs Manchester City: 1-1
This was a very exciting game between two of the best tactical masters. Though there werenāt as many goals as expected, it was very thrilling nonetheless.
Raheem Sterling gave the visitors the lead with a smart drive while Rodrigo took advantage of Ederson’s error to stab home the equaliser.
Both teams put each other’s strengths and weaknesses to test. At the end of the day, both managers were happy to take a point away from the encounter.
Newcastle United vs Burnley: 3-1
Newcastle’s Saint-Maximin justified his inclusion into the starting line up with a solo effort. He then turned provider for Calum Wilson, who scored his first Premier League goal for the Tyneside club. The former Bournemouth striker then sealed it from the penalty spot.

Burnleyās nightmare continues as they lost their 3rd game of the season. The result kept them in the relegation zone as Newcastle grabbed their second win of the season.
Premier League Week 4 – Sunday action
A freaky day it was as two English giants suffered heavy loss, conceding 13 goals between them. The traditionally known Super Sunday is now being dubbed ‘Day of Humiliation’.
Leicester City vs West Ham United: 0-3
David Moyesā men yet again stunned fans all over as they grabbed their second win of the season at the King Power stadium.
Michail Antonio opened the scoring inside 15 minutes. Pablo Fonals and Jarrod Bowen then completed the rout for the Hammers.
This was the first of many shocking results on Sunday as Brendan Rodgerās men lost their first game of the season.
Southampton vs West Bromich Albion: 2-0
Ralph Hasenhuttl seems to have turned things around after an embarrassing defeat to Tottenham at home.
The Saints grabbed their second win of the season against the newcomers. West Brom has been able to grab just one point since the start of the season and seems to be struggling to adjust to life at the top.
The hosts opened the score line through Mousa Djenepo and finally got the Saints their deserved lead in the 41st minute.
Oriol Romeu then scored a screamer to double their lead. This was the midfielder’s first goal after 50 games.
Arsenal vs Sheffield United: 2-1
Mikel Arteta was happy to get another win as Arsenal triumphed at home over The Blades. Goals from Bukayo Saka and Nicolas Pepe put The Gunners in the lead.
Chris Wilderās men reduced the deficit through David McGoldrick but werenāt able to get back into the game.
Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Fulham: 1-0
Pedro Netoās first-half goal handed Wolves their second win of the season as they beat Fulham 1-0 at the Molineux.
The Cottagers seems to have a long season ahead of them as theyāve not been able to grab a point yet this season.
Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur: 1-6
It was a day to forget for Manchester United as they equalled their worst defeat in the Premier League era.
A red card to Anthony Martial in the 28th minute broke the already trailing United side.
Jose Mourinhoās men had no mercy as they ran riot against the Red Devils with stellar performances from Harry Kane and Heung Min Son.
Aston Vila vs Liverpool: 7-2
Dean Smithās Villains grabbed a third win of the season in such strong fashion as they put the reigning champions to the sword.
Ecstatic performances from club captain Jack Grealish and new signing Ollie Watkins were too much for Liverpoolās defence to handle. However, Ross Barkley couldnāt help but get one for himself on his debut for Aston Villa.
