Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman has agreed personal terms with PSG, per multiple reports.
Lookman was absent during Atalanta’s opening Serie A game and it is not without links to a possible move away from the club.
The 26-year-old is considered Atalanta’s best player and potentially the best African player award winner this year.

The Italian side had rejected a €30m submission for Lookman from PSG as that price was considered unreasonable.
Atalanta are holding firm on their valuation of Ademola Lookman, with the Bergamo-based club reportedly demanding a transfer fee in the range of €45-50 million.
This significant price tag reflects Lookman’s outstanding performances, particularly in the latter part of the season, where he played a pivotal role in securing Atalanta’s UEFA Europa League title, highlighted by a decisive hat-trick.
Ramos’ injury one of reasons PSG are chasing Lookman
PSG have intensified their pursuit of Lookman following the long-term injury to their forward Gonçalo Ramos. The French giants have reportedly offered Lookman a lucrative contract worth €4.5 million per season, more than double his current €1.8 million salary at Atalanta.
Lookman’s impressive form has also made him a strong contender for the African Player of the Year award. While several clubs have expressed interest in the Nigerian, PSG appears the most determined to sign him at this time.
Recall that Lookman bagged a hat-trick in last season’s UEFA Europa League Final against Bayer Leverkusen. He was deservedly named Man of the Match. The player also became the first African player ever to score a hat-trick in a UEFA competition final.
Having led Nigeria & Atalanta to the AFCON and Coppa Italia finals respectively, he remains one of Africa’s hottest players this year.
