Rashford recalled, Dan Burn and Myles Lewis-Skelly receive first call up as Tuchel announces first England squad

Marcus Rashford has been recalled to the England squad by new head coach, Thomas Tuchel.

Rashford faced a difficult time at Manchester United after being dropped by head coach Ruben Amorim in December before completing a loan move to Aston Villa in January.

His performances has since improved under Villa manager, Unai Emery. Rashford has made four assists since and helped Aston Villa into the Champions League quarter-finals with one more assist against Club Brugge on Wednesday.

Elsewhere, former Liverpool midfielder, Jordan Henderson who now plays for Ajax, Myles Lewis-Skelly of Arsenal, Dan Burn of Newcastle United and Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers are also included in the 26-player selection for England’s world cup 2026 qualifiers against Albania and Latvia at Wembley.
