RB Leipzig has secured the transfer of Nigerian prodigy Sani Suleiman from AS Trenčín for €7 million. The 19-year-old winger will complete his medical this week. Leipzig outmaneuvered Premier League and La Liga clubs to finalize the deal.
Suleiman’s rapid rise began at Nigerian side Akwa United. His move to European football with Trenčín last summer set the stage for this major step.
He was ranked the world’s most creative U-21 player in October 2025. His statistical profile for penetrative passes and dribbles made him a top target.
