Real Madrid are on the Verge of Winning La Liga

Real Madrid are on the verge of winning La liga after defeating Granada 2-1 on Monday night. This moves them within two points of lifting their first league title in eight years.

Barcelona had dominated the league in recent years while Real Madrid focused on European success. Including back to back Champions league triumphs.

Real Madrid already won the La Decima, and the Champions League trophy has eluded them for two seasons running. Les Blancos fans are urging them to get at least another league title to add to their trophy cabinet.

There are currently four points separating Zidane’s men and their rivals, Barcelona. Real Madrid only need to win two more games from the remaining four leftover fixtures to lift the trophy.

Barcelona will be hoping that Real Madrid slip up so they can take advantage. However, looking at how Madrid has been grinding out narrow wins. Appears like the Spanish title this year is destined for the Spanish capital and not Catalonia.
