In September 2024, Rebel Ridge was one of the most popular movies on the streaming platform, Netflix. Foremost Nigerian social media commentator and influencer, Daniel Regha has mentioned that it is one of the movies he enjoyed watching this year.
In the concluding part of the three-part interview series with News Round The Clock (NRTC), Daniel Regha, one of the most popular netizens on the microblogging site, X (otherwise known as Twitter) disclosed ten of his favourite movies for the year.

Speaking during the session, Regha shared reasons for his movie selection, “A lot of amazing, enlightening, and record-breaking movies were produced and released this year,” he said.
“It’s impossible to watch/review them all, but these top 10 are the best out of the movies I’ve watched this 2024,” he added.
Further, Regha mentioned what each of his selection means to him. “Each of these movies was selected either based on the quality of production, great storyline, relatability, or emotional impact,” he said.
Regha went further to state, “No one movie can be a standout, but a few can dominate the list.”
