CAF has revealed the referee for the crucial second-leg encounter between Morocco’s ASFAR and Nigeria’s Remo Stars.
Last weekend in Ikenne, the Sky Blue Stars secured a 2-1 victory over the Moroccan side in the first leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary round.
Captain Junior Nduka and right-back Ismail Sadiq scored beautiful headers in between an ASFAR goal as the Nigerians took the advantage into the second leg.
With the return leg set for Sunday in Rabat, all eyes are on the decisive clash. CAF announced on Thursday that Benin Republic national Adissa Abdul Raphiou Ligali will officiate the match. The Nigerian team heads into the game needing at least a draw to advance to the next round.
