The House of Representatives has started its annual recess, putting a hold on all legislative activities until September 23, 2025.
Lawmakers reached the decision during plenary after a motion for adjournment was moved, seconded, and agreed upon without opposition.
This marks the beginning of the chamber’s traditional two-month break, during which no legislative sessions will be held.
The recess comes after weeks of deliberations on key national issues, and members are expected to return in September to continue with pending bills and other matters of national interest.
