British boxer and BMX rider Ryan Taylor has claimed that his ex-fiancée, Nigerian DJ and billionaire’s daughter, DJ Cuppy, did not like people from her own country.
Taylor made the claim during a recent episode of the Ladders podcast, where he spoke about their past relationship.
He alleged that during their time together, Cuppy discouraged him from hiring Nigerians to work in his business.
He also recalled moments when Nigerians approached them in public places to ask for money, which he said she disliked.

He said: “Is it mad if I told you that she didn’t like people from her country? She’ll come into my business and she didn’t want me to have her fellow country people as staff. We used to walk in the mall and people would run from their counters and ask for money.”
DJ Cuppy, whose real name is Ifeoluwa Otedola, got engaged to Taylor in November 2022.
Their relationship gained public attention through their affectionate posts and luxurious lifestyle.
However, the pair reportedly ended things in mid-2023 after unfollowing each other on social media and deleting pictures together.
While reflecting on their time together, Taylor said their relationship was a lesson and that he had no regrets about how things turned out.
He said: “Everything happens for a reason. The time that I met her, where we both were at the time, it had to happen. No regrets, lesson learnt.”
