Aryna Sabalenka has just etched her name deeper into tennis history by successfully defending her US Open women’s singles title. The world No. 1 from Belarus swept past American Amanda Anisimova 6‑3, 7‑6(3) in today’s final, securing her second consecutive US Open title and her fourth Grand Slam overall.

In doing so, she became the first woman since Serena Williams (2012–2014) to win back‑to‑back US Open titles. The Belarusian sealed a hard-fought victory showcasing her trademark power and precision committing only 15 unforced errors compared to her opponent who committed 29.

The second set featured a tense tiebreak, but Sabalenka held her nerve and closed it out emphatically, underscoring her mental toughness and consistency on hard courts, meaning that she’s reached every hard-court major final since 2022.
Sabalenka showed why she is one of the top players in the world, defeating her opponent in straight sets. With her strong serves and aggressive groundstrokes, the Belarusian kept control of the match from start to finish, leaving little chance for her challenger to turn things around.
With this latest win, Sabalenka’s future looks even brighter. She is now a major force in women’s tennis and will likely be a strong favorite in upcoming tournaments. If she continues playing with the same passion and focus, more titles could be coming her way very soon.
