Nigerian skit maker, Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, popularly as Sabinus or Mr Funny, has cleared the air on the state of his marriage after months of public speculation.
The matter came up again after old reports resurfaced about his relationship with UK-based Ciana Chapman, whom he tied the knot with quietly in 2023.
By 2024, talk about trouble in their home grew online as he faced claims of domestic violence, cheating, and not being present in his daughter’s life.
While speaking during a TikTok live chat with fellow entertainer Carter Efe, Sabinus addressed the issue directlyy
He explained that he is no longer married and said the union ended without any fight.

He also noted that he and the mother of his daughter still relate well.
According to him, their child is doing fine and both parents are focused on giving her a good life.
He said, “I’m not married. For those carrying rumours, I am not married. My marriage ended peacefully. The mum and I are good. My daughter is okay, and she is doing fine.”
