Nigerian music producer, Samklef has claimed himself alongside sensational musician, Wizkid created the music genre, Afrobeat.
Samuel Oguachuba, popularly known as Samklef stated on his Twitter account that he inspired “the new Afrobeat sound”.
The ‘Noni’ crooner stated this via his Twitter handle on Thursday in reaction to the ongoing supremacy battle in the Nigerian music industry.

He said anyone who doubts his claim should consult Google.

Sharing a throwback picture of himself and Wizkid, he wrote, “The original creators of the new Afrobeat sound! Nack ur head for wall when u see this post. Samklef x wizkid. Go do ur home work guys. Google is there to help u. Aw! Aw!”
