Samsung is developing a slim version of the Galaxy S25. The Galaxy S25 Edge appeared at Unpacked’s end and shows significant thinness relative to other Samsung phones introduced today.
The company gave us almost no specific information during its launch promotion. The voice commentary promotes the device as a product of advanced technological breakthroughs while discussing its stylish design. During its live steam tour, Samsung revealed key product parts but hid the true Galaxy S25 Edge shape. During their visit, guests at Samsung’s Korean event could observe the new phone. At the press event, Samsung avoided providing further information about their Galaxy S25 Edge release timeline but sources from Bloomberg indicate the phone will hit stores across America before summer. The device will adopt unique characteristics taken from the Ultra model and present them in a smaller form factor. According to Bloomberg sources, Samsung hasn’t finalized its pricing yet but the product will sell for less than the $1,299 Ultra.
The coming year will see multiple companies vying to attract customers through thin phone designs. Apple will release its new iPhone 17 “Air” model during the current year according to reports.
