Sanwo-Olu appoints six special advisers


Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has appointed six Special Advisers (non-Cabinet) to serve in various capacities across ministries.

The Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Mrs. Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin disclosed this in a statement today. 

According to the statement, the newly appointed Special Advisers are: Dr. (Mrs) Iyabo Oyeyemi Ayoola—Special Adviser, Central Internal Audit, Mr. Olalekan Hafeez Balogun as Special Adviser on Economic Planning & Budget and Hon. Akinyemi Ajigbotafę as Special Adviser on Community Development.

Others are Very Rev. Bukola Adebiyi— Special Adviser on Christian Religion, Dr. Abdullahi Jębę as Special Adviser on Muslim Religion and Hon. Ismail Odesanya as Special Adviser on DAWN Commission & S/W Integration.

According to Mrs. Hundeyin, the appointments take immediate effect.

However, the SSG congratulated the appointees and encouraged them to align their contributions with Governor Sanwo-Olu’s vision for a Greater Lagos.
