Nigerian musicians Seun Kuti and Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P of the now-defunct P-Square group, have put their differences behind them.
It will be recalled that the two artistes clashed publicly during the 2023 general elections, with their disagreement centered on Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
The exchange began when Kuti described Obi as an “opportunist,” prompting Okoye to respond by questioning Kuti’s relevance and achievements, which escalated into a heated online feud.

However, the pair appear to have settled their dispute after they were recently seen embracing each other at a nightclub in Lagos.
“We are artistes, we can’t be fighting over politicians,” Kuti was heard saying to Okoye, who agreed and shook him.
