Sevilla Football Club have confirmed Nigeria’s Super Eagles player Chidera Ejuke as their first signing of the summer.
Ejuke, who signed a three-year contract, arrives the La Liga club as a free transfer from Russian outfit CSKA Moscow. He was on loan at Belgian Pro League club Royal Antwerp last season.
The right-footed winger, usually deployed on the left wing, is capable of playing in all attacking positions.

Ejuke’s club history
He arrived Norwegian club Vaalerenga as a 19-year-old and played 59 games for the side across two campaigns. The player netted 15 times while supplying six assists prior to his move to Dutch club Heerenveen.
Spending only one season at the club, Ejuke scored 10 goals and provided six assists. His performances caught the attention of CSKA as the Russian side wasted no time in landing the playmaker.
His 10-goal contribution in his maiden season was accompanied by a further eight assists. With the Russians, he made his European competition debut, playing five games in the UEFA Europa League.
His past two seasons have seen him embark on loan spells to Hertha Berlin and Royal Antwerp. For the Belgians, he played four times in the UEFA Champions League last season.
The 26-year-old made his Super Eagles debut in 2020. He had represented Nigeria at various youth levels. Since his bow four years ago, Ejuke has been capped eight times during World Cup and Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches.
