Ghanaian singer, Captan, has alleged that Nigerian music star Burna Boy was once released from police custody in Ghana after Shatta Wale intervened following his arrest for allegedly smoking weed.
Speaking during a recent podcast interview, Captan said Shatta Wale instructed him and some others to secure Burna Boy’s release from custody.
He further claimed that Burna Boy once stayed with Shatta Wale and his team while he was reportedly facing threats from some dangerous individuals.

Captan said, “I once bailed Burna Boy out of prison in Ghana when he was arrested for smoking weed. Shatta Wale sent me and some guys to go and free him from police custody.

“There was a time we also accommodated him when some people were after his life. We helped him settle the case.”
According to Captan, his relationship with Burna Boy later became strained following the Nigerian singer’s fallout with Shatta Wale.
Despite the tension, Captan stated that both he and Shatta Wale are willing to reconcile with Burna Boy if he chooses to make peace.
